United we stand!

Well since the planes hit the World Trade Center, America is becoming more of a patriotic nation once again or so it seems. I see many more flags up at houses and on car windows now. I agree we need to be united to stand but who we are united with will determine how well we stand. God caused this country to grow to be one of the most powerful countries in the world in less than 200 years but any nation that has grown to be powerful fell in spite of their power when sin grew in their midst whether it was sexual sin, or drugs or pride, such as trusting in their own strength and abilities to stand. America was a great nation but she has turned her back on God and without repentance she will fall as ever other nation has done before her.

America is falling apart from within and without now. She has justified abortion, the killing of the unborn for social reasons and when the most innocent life is ruthlessly destroyed then no life is important as we are beginning to see now after almost three decades of abortion. They are justifying killing the old and the handicapped. Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood knew that abortion was killing babies but she justified it to kill of what she viewed as weeds, such as blacks, hispanics, and Italians. She was into eugenics, she was out to make a perfect race of people as Hitler tried to do.

Since then we have legalized sexual perversion, homosexuality. They, those with a lot of power, are talking about saying it is not a baby until it has been out of the womb for around 6 weeks so we can determine better if the baby is deformed, sickly or whatever so we can still have it killed legally.

Evolution was the main doctrine that started the beginning of a downhill descent to hell’s reality. Once Satan convinced certain ones within mankind that we came from monkeys and before that rocks, those who were thinkers knew what was next. What could man do but go down from there on? If you rule out a Creator, then what purpose does man have here on planet earth? He is just a microscopic piece of protoplasm, life that sprang from non-life, intelligence from non-intelligence. He uses his senses, comes up with hope, love, chance, desire, etc. which really have no meaning at all if he just happened to come into existence.

We talk about there being no absolutes... I have asked others who have given me that bit of information, Are you absolutely sure that there are no absolutes? I usually don’t get an answer.

Well, it looks as though we are coming down to the wire. I hear different answers that we need to bring America out of this one but the only real answer is in the word of the Almighty God. It says, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (II Chron. 7:14)

We must turn to God and that is coming to him through his only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The word of God says, "But as many as received him [Jesus], to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" (John 1:12) When we do that then we can cry out with a loud voice...
