Sex, Sex, Sex, Rated X X X...

...because I am going to be speaking truth and truth sets people free and that isn't a normal thing with T.V., movies, newspapers, etc. If you are enjoying what is known as free sex. First, I want to let you know that it isn't free. There is a price to pay when a man or a woman gives himself or herself away. God made us unique individuals and selling out cheap in the back seat of a car, in a van, a motel room, or wherever isn't the way to go and we know it. You know that it isn't God's desire or will for you even though he said that it would be like this in the last days. He still wants to set you free, impart his life within you, give you a purpose worth living for. "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses and lead captive silly women laden with sins, and led away with divers lusts. Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." II Tim. 3:1-7. Yet there is a driving force within each of us to want to experience new things and sex is one of those new things. But sex is also a powerful force within each of us, super powerful and God the Creator of sex has given guidelines on how it should be used. Everybody, that is every normal person wants to be wanted, needed but who wants someone who has been used over and over. When we get ready to settle down, we tend to want someone who has not been used whether a little or a lot.

Since God is the Creator Originator of sex and the sex drive then surely his guidelines would be the route to take. Sex is meant for one man and one woman to enjoy not one man and many women or one woman and many men. One to one and it needs to be done in his way, a man and a woman not a man and a man or a woman and a woman. So we see that it needs to be done in his way, also in his timing then it will be what he meant it to be. That being within marriage. But what is marriage? Marriage involves a lot of things. When God draws two hearts together, they make a decision collectively or individually that they want to live together as long as they are here on planet earth. They desire to put one another's needs first. To die to their so-called wants and desires and love their spouse as they love themselves. (Read Matt. 19:1-12 and go back and check out Genesis 1&2). Remember if you are a Christian, you are called to love your enemies or even strangers as you love yourself so this shouldn't be a new principle for you. As you start learning these principles then you will see your mate or your potential mate as truly someone worth something and not just a sex object or should I say not just another sex object for sex's sake but sex in its rightful perspective with love as its motivating factor not driven by lust. Meeting someone and having sex with them isn't love. Union with a person of the opposite sex is one of God's highest gifts in the physical realm and union with him is the highest gift possible and that is accomplished when we receive Jesus into our lives. Physical union is just a type of our spiritual union with the Lord. If we go the wrong route in the physical, it causes us to view our possible or potential relationship with Jesus as a negative even before we experience it. Then we have another problem which wasn't a big problem at one time when sex was used mostly within the bounds of marriage and that is pregnancy. You hear it over and over especially in these days, when the girl gets pregnant, the solution is an abortion. The world came up with this better sounding word, 'abortion' which is simply 'killing the baby.' Whether you want to use the word 'kill' or the word 'abort' we are talking about the same thing, 'death to the baby.' So now an innocent party is involved and the solution to the problem is to kill the one who is not guilty. Life in the womb is important or not important based on how it will affect our social life. We are a strange society. Games like 'Life Boat' or 'Bomb Shelter' are played in schools or colleges all over the United States where the value of human life is based on what one has or doesn't have. Those who are in better shape physically, mentally, and/or financially are on the top of the list in these games. They're the so-called winners but "Thus saith the LORD, 'Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth: for in these things I delight' saith the LORD." (Jeremiah 9:23,24)

I see the thing that is top priority is knowing God and God wants all to know him in a personal way, not just to know about him but to truly know him and that is one of the reasons that he became a man to free us from sin and to help us to know what he is like then we will really want to know him. Sex without love is empty. Sure, we really enjoy the physical part but we are not animals and sex just to have sex will destroy us. We're created on a much higher order than animals even though now it is a fallen state. We know what's right and wrong yet so many people in these last days are shearing their conscience raw where they don't hurt or care for others unless they can get something they want. They're hardening their hearts to God's voice, going deeper and deeper into sin, trying to justify it. One day you won't be able to hear God's voice, the conviction will be gone and you will be good as dead. Come to Jesus today, don't put him off. You are not promised tomorrow.
