An e-mail regarding homosexuality and my reply

Danny,
"I was sitting here thinking today and I thought about homo's and special rights etc.,
And I thought what is it that homo's want that they do not have in terms of special rights and I reflected on the media where they say they want to marry and have the same worldly advantages as a heterosexual couple.

"Then I thought about the law and the church and marriage. The state (the ungodly world) has taken over marriage and taken it away from the church. Marriage WAS a right that was held by the church only, until the government violated the seperation between church and state and took it from the church.

"So now... we have a whole world of people living in fornication in state/worldy recognized marriages, but not spiritual marriages recognized by God.

"So - not to sound pro homo or anything because I am not - but what difference does it make if homo's marry? The marriage is not recognized by God and they are living in sin the same as if they were not married. I guess I am saying those who are in the world - live in the world by the laws of the world - not the law of God. So what difference does it make what man-made laws they live under?

"We are not of this world, but homo's are of this world as long as they are lost.

"Is the difference because God judges a nation based on its sins?"

BELOW IS MY ANSWER TO HIS E-MAIL...

A few thoughts on your e-mail. The separation of church and state caught my eye and from the way that I understand it, it was in reference to the church not controlling the state like the Roman Catholic church did back in time before the reformation and they are still controlling the "state" in many countries. Since this country was founded on Christianity and we HAD all of our laws based on the word of God then it would stand to reason that if we let them have their "rights" here then since we are talking about the law of God then we should let the murderers have their way, the adulterers, the liars, cheaters, thieves, etc. A country cannot stand if the law of God is abolished. He wrote it in our hearts, we know it is wrong and so do they but they harden to the truth and become reprobates...

"Circa 1490-92 Queen Isabella's commission to Columbus as he set out to find a new world was "given for the glory of God." According to his personal log. Columbus' purpose in seeking "undiscovered worlds" was to "bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the heathens." "......It was the Lord who put into my mind... the fact that it would be possible to sail from here to the Indies" "I am the most unworthy sinner, but I have cried out to The Lord for grace and mercy, and they have covered me completely...no one should fear to undertake any task in the name of the Savior, if it is just and if the intention is purely for His holy service."
(from Columbus' "Book of Prophecies").

1493 "that which the unaided intellect of man could not compass, the spirit of God has granted to human exertions, for God is wont to hear the prayers of His servants who love His precepts even to the performance of apparent impossibilities. Therefore, let the king and queen, our princes and their most happy kingdoms, and all the other provinces of Christendom, render thanks to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ...." September 26, 1642 "Rules and Precepts that are observed in the College at Cambridge in Massachusetts Bay" (now known as Harvard): "...Let every Student be plainly instructed, and earnestly pressed to consider well, the maine end of his life and studies is, to know God and Jesus Christ which is eternall life, John 17:3 and therefore to lay Christ in the bottome, as the only foundation of all sound knowledge and Learning. May 19, 1643 New England Colonies of Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Plymouth and New Haven adopt Articles of Confederation: "Whereas we all came unto these parts of America with one and the same end and aim namely, to advance the kingdome of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to enjoy the liberties of the Gospell in purties with peace."

April 25, 1689 The Great Law of Pennsylvania: "Whereas the glory of Almighty God and the good of mankind is the reason and the end of government.... therefore government itself is a venerable ordinance of God..."

1749 Benjamin Franklin in a plan for education of the youth of Pennsylvania: "[t]he necessity of a Publick Religion, from its usefulness to the Publick; the Advantage of a Religious Character among private Persons, the Mischiefs of Superstition, &c, and the excellency of the Christian Religion above all others ancient and modern."
(Letter From Plymouth Rock, A publication of The Plymouth Rock Foundation, Marlborough, NH 03455.)"

I do agree that they cannot keep the law of God inwardly but they can outwardly, if you know what I mean. Outward appearances such as not committing sexual sins with your body but they will be doing them in your mind like watching filthy movies, lusting, etc. They can't keep the law of God inwardly without a new nature but to reject the law of God completely, no person would survive. Anarchy would be rampant...

When Christians cease being the light in this dark world then its time is just about up.

HIS REPLY TO MY ANSWER IS BELOW...

"Danny,
"What a fabulous answer! I loved it. I knew it was something like that, but I could not put my finger on it. I framed the question from a world-wise approach because one that is the manner in which it came to mind and two I figured that is how someone from the world would ask me of such a thing, and I wanted to be able to answer them.
Thanks Danny!"
