"No!!"

"Help!!"

"*&%$##$!"

"Water!"

"Go to Hell!!"

You know people have said that to me a lot. It causes me to ask myself a few questions. (1) Do they mean it? (2) And if they do, why? (3) Don't they realize how awful that place is? (4) Don't they know that God became a man and died in our place so that we wouldn't have to go there?...even though I do not believe that fire and brimstone is the worst part of hell; it will be the absence of the presence of God. People will have a memory, they will feel pain in hell. They will go through all eternity knowing that they will never see God, or be with him because they rejected his free gift of everlasting life offered to all through his sacrifice on the cross. Now that is too much for me to understand, it's unbelievable! And the majority of the world are still going their own way, trying to fill the emptiness inside by artificial means such as sex, dope, achieving popularity through their intellect, looks, strength, wealth, etc., never coming to the one who can completely fulfill and fill them up with himself. And, man, when that happens, everything in comparison is like waste, dung, and garbage.

Since God took the first step to bring mankind back to himself, I guess the majority of the world figure that he will take the second step too! But he won't, God is just and he is love. Because of his justice, he demanded a payment for sin (check Romans 6:23). Because of his love, he became a man and paid that payment himself (check Romans 5:8). Only he lived a perfect life, which made it possible for him to be a ransom for all mankind. So the first step that he took covered everything. Now our part is to accept Jesus who died for our sins; but death couldn't hold him because he was and is sinless. Then he comes into our lives and makes us righteous and holy in the Father's eyes.

You can make that decision today. In one way, it is going to be the hardest thing that you have ever done. Satan is going to do his best (worst) to get you to put it off by telling you to wait, no big hurry! Yet God says, "...now is the accepted time, behold, now is the day of salvation." (2 Corinthians 6:2) You're not promised tomorrow. Satan will tell you to go for it when you are older (check James 4:13-17), but now you should have all the fun you can- experiment with sex, party, get in fights, show everybody what a bad dude that you are. Yet Jesus said, "I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10) Life at it's best is walking with God, not Satan. The devil knows that when you die without Jesus, you have hell to pay and misery loves company. Come to him today. He loves you ever so much! Please call me. I would love to talk to you more indepth about Jesus. He is "the way, the truth, and the life."
