Have a Happy Christ-x Day!

I see it so much as I drive around. I see the fat man in the red suit with the long white hair and beard and "Merry X-mas" on many of the signs. Merry X-mas? When a person takes Christ out, he doesn't have anything. Christ Jesus said, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." The thief (Satan) is stealing from people whether it's their sanity, their hope, or their peace- what little they have. Satan is destroying families, children through incest, exploitation, etc.; wives and husbands through adultery, jealously, wrong priorities or whatever else he can come up with. He desires to keep you dead spiritually until you die physically in your sins by trying to get you to put off Jesus through temptations that he puts in your life such as drugs, sex outside of marriage, just plain procrastination. Even so-called good goals like working hard to support your family, but even work can become a god. The focus can be money and the formula is work= money = happiness = peace = security = life. The foundation is wrong because the focus is wrong. The focus is self and self desires.

This particular holiday is when we have the most suicides. A time of the year that is filled with happiness for many is the saddest for many others who have no family, very few friends, not much money if any. To really celebrate this holiday season, our outlook should be on him, sharing the Answer to life's problems. The Answer to our sin problem with the answers to the problems, temptations, trials that come our way each and every day.

Satan mixed paganism into Christianity through the Roman Catholic church. Using just one of many examples is when they made Saturnalia, which was a pagan festival to the sun, occurring on December 25th, Jesus' birthday. Most historians will readily agree that Jesus was born around September. Almost since its inception, Roman Catholicism has been incorporating paganism into their church and they are still doing it up till this very day. Even though the date is wrong. Jesus Christ is the same. Come to him for forgiveness and life. He'll make this time and any other time of the year worth celebrating. So in closing, "Have a Happy Christ-x day" today and everyday. Keep Christ in and take the mas[s] out, it's not needed.
